Love Loughborough presented and launched their brand new business support packs to over 140 businesses attending the Loughborough Town Hall Networking Breakfast this morning. (2nd May).
Andy Rhodes, Vice Chair of Love Loughborough, welcomed attendees a delivered a brief overview on how the BID has positively grown in the last 12 months, Andy then introduced Lisa Brown, Love Loughborough BID Manager, who has now been in post for a year.
Lisa informed the attendees about the variety of schemes Love Loughborough has to offer to BID businesses, from free recycling collections to the proposed new retail radio scheme. Charlotte Havis, a Digital Marketing consultant working with Love Loughborough provided an overview of the Digital Business Support Scheme which intends to upskill BID businesses in topics such as getting your business online, staying safe online, advertising online and managing your business online – all skills that are essential in today’s climate.
Lez Cope-Newman, Love Loughborough Chair say’s “it’s really important that all BID Businesses are aware of the schemes and support available to them, especially the digital training workshops as we are aware that a large proportion of Loughborough Businesses would benefit from digital learning and understanding the importance of competing in a digital world.”
LoyalFree, who are partners of Love Loughborough, took centre stage to promote the Love Loughborough loyalty app whereby customers can claim offers and discounts from Loughborough Businesses. The app also provides businesses with a great advertising platform, a local guide and upcoming events.
The breakfast networking attendees were the first businesses to receive a hard copy of the new business packs and Love Loughborough intend on distributing business support packs to all BID Businesses over the next two months.
