In the ballot the majority voting \u2018Yes\u2019 was over 80%.<\/span><\/p>\n

Love Loughborough Chair\u00a0Lez Cope Newman\u00a0said \u201cWe\u2019re obviously delighted with the result which is a positive step forward for the future of the town centre and Loughborough as a whole. We are grateful to the businesses for this endorsement of our work so far and look forward to working with them to deliver the exciting new business plan proposals over the next five years. I\u2019d like to thank the BID management team and my fellow Directors for all their hard work, as well as the Borough and County Councils and our many delivery partners\u201d.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Love Loughborough BID was set up in February 2012 following a vote of town\u00a0centre\u00a0businesses. It represents\u00a0over\u00a0600 businesses across all sectors that each pay an annual levy to fund the improvements. A board of Directors made up of BID Businesses oversees the delivery and management of the scheme.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
