Loughborough Fair 12th \u2013 15th November<\/strong><\/p>\n

To accommodate the annual Loughborough Fair, road closures will commence at 7.00pm on Tuesday 11th November across several town centre streets. Please refer to the enclosed map, where all affected roads are outlined in red. This should assist with planning deliveries and access during the event.<\/p>\n

This year, the Fair has been extended to include additional road closures, covering the junction of Shakespeare Street through to Orchard Street, including Swan Street and Derby Square. These closures will also take effect from 7.00pm on Tuesday 11th November and remain in place for the duration of the Fair.<\/p>\n

Parking Restrictions<\/strong><\/p>\n

To allow fairground vehicles and equipment into the town centre, parking prohibitions will be in place from 5.00pm on Tuesday 11th November in the following areas:
\n\u2022 Browns Lane
\n\u2022 Ward\u2019s End \/ Devonshire Square
\n\u2022 Swan Street \/ Derby Square
\n\u2022 High Street \/ Baxter Gate<\/p>\n

Restrictions will be clearly marked by official signage. In addition, fairground rides and stalls will begin arriving across the town centre between Monday 10th November and Wednesday 12th November.<\/p>\n

Outdoor Furniture Businesses with a Pavement Licence are reminded that outdoor furniture (tables, chairs, etc.) must not be placed outside premises from 5.00pm on Monday 10th November until Sunday 16th November, for the duration of the Fair.<\/p>\n

We thank all businesses, residents, and visitors for their support and cooperation in helping this historic event run smoothly.<\/p>\n

Town Centre Deliveries and Access During the Fair<\/strong><\/p>\n

Deliveries are permitted outside Fair operating hours, with the exception of the first day (Wednesday 12th November), when no deliveries will be possible due to the event build-up. We strongly recommend arranging any large deliveries before 5.00pm on Monday 10th November.<\/p>\n

Access at road closure points (see attached Street Diversions Map) will be permitted after the Fair closes and up to 30 minutes before opening times, as set out below:
\n\u2022 Wednesday: 5:00pm \u2013 11:00pm (no deliveries permitted)
\n\u2022 Thursday: 12:00 noon \u2013 11:00pm (deliveries allowed until 11:30am, vacated by 11:35am)
\n\u2022 Friday: 11:00am \u2013 11:00pm (deliveries allowed until 10:30am, vacated by 10:35am)
\n\u2022 Saturday: 11:00am \u2013 11:00pm (deliveries allowed until 10:30am, vacated by 10:35am)<\/p>\n

Exemptions <\/strong><\/p>\n

Please note that during Fair operating hours, only emergency vehicles will be granted access to closed streets. There are no exemptions for cash-in-transit vehicles. Businesses are advised to adjust delivery schedules accordingly.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
