We are launching our monthly Business Spotlight feature to showcase businesses in the town centre. First up is Wheelers Luxury Gifts on Devonshire Square.
Wheelers, who have been in business for an amazing 43 years, are one of the leading independent specialist gift retailers in the UK. They offer the widest choice from the collecting end of the luxury gifting market, and are renowned for a giving good, old-fashioned, personal service.
Owner, Bruce Wheeler left school in the 1970’s and embarked on a college course in Retail Management, which led to a work placement and eventually a full-time job as Assistant Manager and subsequently, a Manager, with Sears Group.
By 1980, Bruce branched out on his own opening ‘Wheelers’ and the rest is history. He is usually to be found at the store to assist you alongside his reliable and trustworthy staff who are ready to handle any enquiries.
Wheelers is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm and is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.
