Christmas lights switch-on

This year’s Loughborough Christmas lights switch-on will take place on Sunday November 21, 2021.

The day will be filled with festive fun including an arts and craft fair, children’s fairground rides and musical performances with the lights being switched on at 5pm.

There will be a charity market in the town centre from 11am as well as a food court, retail market and fairground rides.

The main stage will come alive at around 1pm with performances by local school and performance groups including Pauline Quirke Academy and BrightLights.

There will also be a range of activities throughout the day to keep the children entertained including face painters, reenactors and a magician.

The Sock Christmas Art and Crafts Fair

The popular craft fair will return for its fourth year. Visit between 11am and 5pm to browse over 30 stalls filled with a wide range of handmade products from talented makers locally and from further afield.
