Love Loughborough BID announced the launch of their new campaign a few weeks ago “Love Loughborough Lockdown Challenges.” The team at Love Loughborough have been setting challenges that people can partake in isolation every week for a chance to win up to £100 in local shopping vouchers to spend in participating stores when lockdown is over.
The BID Manager, Lisa Brown said “this is not only a great way to keep our large online following engaged and busy while in isolation, but it is also a brilliant way to support our participating BID businesses, to encourage future custom when lockdown is over!”
This week, for our fifth challenge, we are asking the public to call on their creative and artistic skills and send us a photo of nature that they have taken near to where they live. This photo can be taken on a mobile or camera and be of something they have found in their garden such as a bird, flower, bee or insect or something they have seen when they have been on a walk or bike ride recently such as a pond, woodland or a pretty a landscape.
The competition will start on Wednesday the 13th May and will run for the week, whereby the winner will be chosen. The author of the winning picture will then receive £100’s of Love Loughborough shopping vouchers to spend in participating Loughborough businesses when Lockdown ends.
To enter all you need to do is take the photograph and send it to us via Facebook using the hashtag #lovelborolockdownchallenge, don’t forget to tag Love Loughborough in when you post it, so we can see it!
