The market and university town of Loughborough is located off junction 23 of the M1, in the heart of Charnwood’s rolling countryside. It offers a wide range of shopping, tasty eating out experiences, family attractions, fascinating heritage, vibrant events and plenty of places to explore. Loughborough’s retail market takes place every Thursday and Saturday and there’s a Vintage Market every Friday.<\/p>\n

During the year there are many events taking place in the town centre.\u00a0 The Loughborough Gardeners’ Fairs are very popular, with over 100 stalls that include plants and everything for the garden plus artisan makers with their handmade goods.\u00a0 The fairs take place each first Sunday of every month from April to September plus a Christmas special in December.\u00a0 \u00a0There is a car show each year plus a pet fest, bike meet and lots of other events.\u00a0 For a list of events taking place in 2026 click here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n
