{"id":4590,"date":"2021-01-25T12:33:37","date_gmt":"2021-01-25T12:33:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/loveloughborough.co.uk\/love-loughborough\/?p=4590"},"modified":"2021-01-25T12:33:37","modified_gmt":"2021-01-25T12:33:37","slug":"the-bike-and-trike-show-is-cancelled-for-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/loveloughborough.co.uk\/love-loughborough\/the-bike-and-trike-show-is-cancelled-for-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"The Bike and Trike Show is cancelled for 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The 2021 Bike and Trike show has been cancelled.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Love Loughborough BID have taken the decision to cancel the annual Loughborough Bike and Trike show that was provisionally scheduled for May 2021 based on the government\u2019s guidelines with the Coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>Love Loughborough BID take the health and safety of the town and wider community incredibly seriously and with this in mind and listening to the latest guidelines the event has been cancelled.<\/p>\n<p>Lisa Brown, BID Manager said \u2018The Bike and Trike show is a much loved event that BID brings to the town and people travel further afield to enjoy the day. However, in light of the government\u2019s restrictions on mass gatherings we need to put the public\u2019s health first and cancel this event\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Lez Cope Newman, BID Chairman stated, \u2018We will monitor closely the government guidelines and that of the World Health Organisation before we make any decisions on a new date for the event.
