What a morning!
We have been at the Forest Road Greenbelt in Loughborough where the Deputy Mayor of Charnwood, Cllr David Snartt has officially opened the story telling seat.
The seat has been carved out of a dead standing oak tree in memory of Loughborough in Bloom stalwart Harry Cook.
A total of £8,436 was raised through crowdfunding by the local community and the project was also supported by Loughborough University, Ideverde and the Council’s member grants scheme.
