Important information if you’re bringing a bike or trike to the town.

To help the event run smoothly we have produced this information sheet for you. Please take time to read it prior to the event.

The event will take place at Market Place, Loughborough, Leics. LE11 3EA from 10am to 3pm.

Access is via the one-way system off the A6 Leicester Road onto Southfields Road, Forest Road and into the Market Place via Wards End. Exit will be via Baxter Gate, Swan Street or Market Street.

Event staff will be in place from 9.00am.

ON ARRIVAL please report to the Event Staff who will be located at the event site entrance at Cattle Market (Opposite the Odeon Cinema) Event Staff can be identified by Love Loughborough T-Shirts and High-Vis vests.

Bikes & Trikes

Once you have parked your bike or trike please remove the keys and keep them safe and away from the public.

Once parked, please DO NOT start up your bike or trike engine again until you wish to leave. As you leave, please refrain from wheelies or loud revs as you leave, we need to ensure we do not disturb the public or businesses. The Event Site is pedestrianised and is subject to a TRO (Traffic Regulation Order) which prevents the movement of vehicles between the hours of 10am and 4pm. In order to enter or leave the site within the TRO, you must contact a Member of the Event Staff who will be happy to ‘bank’ you out

Stall Holders / Exhibitor Displays

If you have booked a stall or pitch for the autojumble, exhibitor displays, crafts or food, please ensure your stall is set up and your vehicle is removed from the site by 10am (unless it is a bike!). No cars will be permitted on the site between the times of 10am to 3pm. Vehicular access will be permitted at 3pm at the close of the event.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

If bikes or trikes need to leave within the hours of 10am and 3pm please contact a member of the Event Staff so that we can ensure this is completed in a safe manner. As part of our safety and security risk assessment No Vehicle will be allowed to move without consent of the Event Site Steward

General Notes

Cars needs to be parked on the show area by 9.45am and you understand it cannot be moved until 3pm. This complies with the event show times. Bikes can arrive throughout the day and be escorted into the event site.

You or the club are responsible for YOUR own vehicle including content or display items. Keys must be removed and vehicles stood safety. 

The event aims to show Bike and Trikes to the full potential to the pubic who may not understand the etiquette of careful viewing. Event Staff are on call for advice and support. It is your responsibility to watch your own vehicle.  

When exiting the event, the correct head gear must be worn and road and traffic laws must be adhered to by all Bikers attending.

When exiting the event , you must endeavour to ensure that you do not cause any noise or traffic violation as this could affect future shows.

Please be courteous to other bike users. The event will not tolerate any anti-social behaviour and you may be asked to leave or the Police contacted if you do not adhere to this.

FOOD AND DRINK

There are plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants available in the town centre and there will be food venders within the event site. Please look around the areas just off Market Place too, as some venues will be offering deals.
