Reassurance Message to Loughborough Businesses from Inspector Mark Botte;
“We are aware that there may be some nervousness around crime out of hours given the current climate and we are doing all we can to remain visible .
We have amended the town centre patrol plans which puts a focus on retail premises and Sgt James Thomas and the team are working hard to maintain personal contact with commercial premises.
I have also amended our daily briefs to encourage ALL staff on late and night shifts in Loughborough to pay special attention to retail premises which might present at risk .
Of course we will also be looking after retail premises outside the town centre, however, I wanted Loughborough Town to have a bespoke message before the weekend.
Further , if any retail premises have any particular concerns in the town centre can they please email me (mark.botte@leicestershire.pnn.polic.uk) and I shall ensure that their representations are heard”
