Set the dates for the 2026 Love Loughborough Gardeners’ Fairs
Spring is in the air, and the Love Loughborough Gardeners’ Fair is back and bigger than ever.
This award-winning event is held in Loughborough town centre on the first Sunday of every month, April through to October and this year’s Gardeners’ Fair kicks off with a blooming marvellous event planned for Easter Sunday, 5th April.
The hugely popular Love Loughborough Gardeners’ Fairs attracts over 80,000 visitors to the town centre throughout the year, driving footfall and additional spend into Loughborough’s businesses. The event helps to create an exciting Sunday vibe when the streets come alive with an eclectic range of plants, garden décor, artisan foods, makers crafts and entertainment.
The first Love Loughborough Gardeners’ Fair takes place between 10-4pm and will be located throughout the town centre on Devonshire Square, Cattle Market, Market Street and Market Place. The horticulturalists will be bringing a huge selection of plants including seasonal plants and flowers, shrubs and trees as well as succulents and rare and exotic plants for your homes. They’ll be on hand to provide helpful advice on this month’s selection for your garden.
The innovative Furrow’s Horticulture Young Gardeners stall returns this year and gives children an opportunity to learn about growing food and beneficial flowers to attract butterflies and bees. Initiatives include grow the tallest sunflower, the largest pumpkin and the tallest beanstalk with a chance to enter prize winning competitions. There will be free plant seeds available on the Love Loughborough stall for families to take home and watch grow.
In addition to this there are family friendly activities planned, themed around Easter, with trails, street entertainment, crafts, activities at the Odeon Cinema and a visit from the Easter Bunny, as well as lots of artisan makers providing the very best in craft and food from across the region. With plenty of convenient parking and many shops, cafés, pubs, restaurants and cake shops open, it’s the perfect spring day out!
