In January 2020 Enton published his first book ‘Laid Bare’ in which he reveals his story of addiction, homelessness and recovery, he will be offering a book signing to this book at WHSmith in Loughborough from 11am- 2pm
Enton Barefoot grew up in a small village in Wales in the 1980s. He was surrounded by a large, noisy, loving, extended family and looked forward to his mum’s mouth-watering roast dinners every Sunday. By 2007 he was sleeping rough in a Midlands town, scavenging for food from skips. A passionate and avid sportsman, Enton played semi-professional football and was on track to follow his dream of playing as a career when a sliding doors moment changed everything. He fell gradually into a whirlwind life of addiction and homelessness. For over thirteen years now Enton has lived his life in recovery. He is a qualified Drugs and Alcohol counsellor and has worked as a support worker for local charities. He still follows his passion for sport through his rugby coaching for a number of clubs including the Leicester Tigers community team.
